I started CrossFit in August 2015. I came to CrossFit as a runner and a triathlete, and I thought it would help me get stronger. Through CrossFit, I absolutely got stronger, mentally and physically, and I discovered all sorts of things about how my body moves and how much fun it can be to train yourself like an athlete. I particularly enjoy the Olympic lifts, they demand both physical strength and efficiency of movement, I think they’re so fun.
I went to the CrossFit L1 training to learn more about the CrossFit methodology and later completed a Coach’s course with USAW to learn the weightlifting mechanics from the pros! I had the hope that someday an opportunity would present itself for me to give back to the community that gave me so much, and it has. My goal is to bring CrossFit to our membership so they can learn to grow strength both inside and outside of the gym. I feel it is a privilege to be amongst the people here at InnerDrive, and in the CrossFit community as a whole.
