Roger began CrossFit a little over a year and a half ago at the very beginning of 2019 when he and a group of coworkers were looking to get in shape for a Tough Mudder. Since starting at Innerdrive Roger has been able to do things that he never had before, and realized how he can actually feel. Being in better shape has really helped him in his everyday life, especially during the summer with taking care of his campsite up north where he just spent this past weekend cutting up trees.
Roger has some knee issues making lots of squatting movements some of his less than favorite things, but he always likes getting to hit pull ups since he was never able to do them before CrossFit. Lately he’s been focusing on putting a little more weight on the bar with certain movements, such as cleans where he was able to hit a PR at the movement clinic earlier this month! Roger bounces around the morning classes and always has a nice little outlook to go along with every workout, but even with all his joking he always comes in, puts his head down, pushes himself, and gets the work done.
