Josh joined Innerdrive not to long ago back in April, but has been doing CrossFit since July of 2018. He liked that CrossFit always kept him guessing as opposed to the normal back and bi’s and chest and tri’s most people do at regular gyms. When he first joined us pull ups were tough, but they’re now one of his favorite movements, along with snatches, after all the extra work he has put in to them! His focus is gonna switch to being able to get comfortable kicking upside down into the wall, and double unders. Which I think a lot of us can agree with after completing 20.2 this week.
Josh is a big fan of competing! He does CrossFit competitions regularly, and finds that his improved fitness also helps him in other extracurriculars, such as baseball and football. During all that sporting his go to snack is peanut butter, which is always great whether it’s with something or just on a spoon. You can almost always see Josh at Open Gym on Sundays because he is extremely motivated to get better. The best part? It’s all of you that motivate him! Seeing his Innerdrive family pursuing their goals and hitting their pr’s just pushes him to want to reach new heights.
